This Luxury Hotel Can Transport You Between Major Cities
You’ve always wanted to take a stroll through the Big Apple. Imagine if you could travel there while watching television with a glass of wine in hand in your own private room?
Well, it’s a possibility.
According to Business Insider, Brandan Siebrecht, a graduate architecture student at the University of Nevada, has designed the “Hyperloop Hotel”, a moving hotel that can take you and your friends around major cities in the United States.

But before you get too excited, this isn’t an actual thing yet. It’s just a futuristic idea. With the collaboration of intelligent minds and the speed at which our technology advances, it wouldn’t be surprising to see this baby up and running in the next few years.
So, what’s so great about this transit system? The Hyperloop Hotel would include 13 rooms and can go to and from cities, such as Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Austin, Chicago, D.C., New York City and Boston. You could even zoom through multiple locations all in one day. The Hyperloop system would essentially connect these cities together, making for more efficient travel.
The drawback. There is still a fee and it’s not exactly cheap. But if you save up some moola ahead of time and pick up some extra shifts, then it’s not too bad.
Think about it. You’d never have to buy another plane or train ticket or sit in the airport for hours waiting to catch a flight. No more spending lots of money each night on a hotel. The time you spend traveling the traditional way would be cut in half with this new Hyperloop system. Additionally, you can travel in comfort. No more being squished up in a plane seat where you feel confined. Now you can spread out, take a nap and before you know it, you’ve reached your destination.
Now, if only this student and his team of experts and designers could expand this concept overseas. That might take decades and require more thought, since major bodies of water divide up our continents.
The Hyperloop Hotel, whether it becomes a real concept, will certainly change up the traveling experience. For a travel buff like me, it’s worth trying at least once! Would you?
