There Are Now Audiobooks To Soothe Your Stressed Pet
A lot of pet owners leave the TV or radio on for their dogs when they leave for work for the day, but now you can take that one step further.
Cesar Milan has launched a line of audio books for your four-legged friend that he says will “foster calm, relaxed behavior” in your pup. If Fido or Fluffy get anxious when they see you lacing up your shoes and preparing to depart, just throw on an audiobook to help take their mind off of their separation anxiety.
Milan’s Dog Psychology Center conducted a study of 100 dogs and found that 76 percent of owners who played audiobooks for their pets over a four-week period experienced a calmer, more relaxed pooch. Your dog has many titles to choose from, including Pride & Prejudice read by Rosamund Pike, and Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood read by Trevor Noah.
