DJ Mustard Is Done With Lean After Fredo Santana’s Death
Though he doesn’t specify this is because of Fredo Santana‘s death, we’re pretty much thinking it is.
Santana died from a seizure, which is known to be caused by Lean, and you can see in DJ Mustard‘s video, he’s pouring out the Codeine for good.
The vid, which contains profanity, says “It’s over for me people. It’s over. F*** this shit—cool. F*** that, it’s over. Kick that muthaf*****’ cup.”

Just 2 years ago, Lil’ Wayne was battling the same symptoms of drinking Lean, which caused multiple seizures on a plane, and had to have an emergency landing. S
The Daily Beast shared this note from Daniel Summers, who was a physician, though not Weezy’s physician, during the incidents that Lil’ Wayne was suffering:
“Seizures are not listed among the common symptoms of codeine overdose. The primary hazard is suppression of a person’s drive to breathe. If a high enough dose is taken, patients can lapse into a coma or die. Such an overdose resulted in the death of Pimp C, a rapper who had alluded to his own affinity for lean in the track “Sippin’ on Some Syrup.”
It’s safe to say most people consuming Lean should avoid the substance for good.
