Your 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend Participants
ICYMI, here’s all the 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend participants.
Last night, on TNT, the NBA officially unveiled all of the 2018 All-Star participants for the Dunk Contest, Three-Point Contest, and Skills Challenge.
Here they are:

The clear favorite is Aaron Gordon, especially after his controversial loss to Zach LaVine 2 years ago, which was arguably the best Dunk Contest duel in Dunk Contest history. My sleeper pick is definitely Victor Oladipo, he has competed in the dunk contest before and didn’t put on the show that we thought he would, with a few more years and research under his belt, I think he will make the splash necessary to be one of the finalists.

Defending champion Eric Gordon has a shot to defend his title but there’s a lot of hungry first timers in this year’s contest. Guys like Devin Booker, Paul George, & Wayne Ellington will sure be hungry to prove that they belong in the contest every year. Other than Gordon, Klay Thompson seems to always be a crowd favorite and I would tune in to see Bradley Beal light it up, that man can plain shoot the basketball.

Here’s where it gets interesting, you can almost never predict the winners of these contests. The past two years, the winner was a seven-footer in Karl-Anthony Towns and Kristaps Porzingis. This year the unicorn has a chance to defend his title and we will also get to see three other seven footers in Lauri Markkanen, Joel Embiid, & Al Horford try to carry the torch for the big men. My bet is on Lou Williams, he has a chip on his shoulder from being snubbed from the All-Star game and he has been having an incredible season. As for a sleeper pick, I have to go with Lauri Markkanen, he has proved everyone wrong all season his rookie year and he will look to continue to do so.
