Fort Bragg Soldier Has Been Arrested For Allegedly Raping A Teen
A Fort Bragg soldier was recently arrested and is accused of raping a teen and attacking her with an axe.
The incident happened in 2013 in Houston, Texas. According to People, the victim, 16, told authorities she was fighting with her parents and walked away from her home.
At that point, a man, who was wearing a mask, attacked the teen and hit her over the head with an axe.
The teen was brought to a field and sexually assaulted. Before the suspect took off, he hit the victim over the head with an axe again.

The suspect has been identified as 24-year-old Levi Austin Goss. Goss has only been in the Army since 2016. When you join the Army, you are required to submit a DNA sample. Because Goss had been accused of another sexual assault last year, his DNA was added to the national registry — Which is standard after someone in the Army has been accused of a crime.
Based on his DNA sample and evidence recovered during the 2013 assault, authorities were able to link Goss to the crime so many miles away.
