Tupac Breakup Letter To Madonna Officially To Auction
Madonna tried to reclaim the letter that was written in 1995, but wasn’t able to snag it from the court.
According to the report from the New York Daily News, the Supreme Court Judge told Madonna on Monday that she knew that under an agreement she made back in 2004, the letter, among other items she forfeited to Former Friend Darlene Lutz, it was ruled that the letter could be sold because it became Lutz’s personal property.
The letter stated the following:
“Can u understand that? For you to be seen with a Black man wouldn’t in any way jeopardize your career. If anything it would make you seem that much more open & exciting,” he wrote in the letter. “But for me at least in my previous perception I felt due to my ‘image’ I would be letting down half of the people who made me what I thought I was. I never meant to hurt you.”
When the letter first hit the internet last year, it was worth $100,000 according to XXL, but we’re sure that it will be worth more after this court battle. Why doesn’t Madonna just buy the letter back if she wants it so badly? If I had Madonna money, that’s what I’d do.
