Johnny Depp And Forest Whitaker Take On Biggie & Tupac’s Murders
Everyone’s pretty obsessed with the murders of Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur.
Right on the heels of BET’s ‘Death Row Chronicles’ and USA’s ‘Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G.‘ comes Johnny Depp and Forest Whitaker diving into the 1997 era of LA corruption and the murders of Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur.
What’s sort of frustrating, as a patron of Unsolved on USA, the film sounds much like the show, as the film flip-flops between 1997 and two decades after the murders. Releasing on September 7, it still looks like an awesome film, especially if you are in love with East Coast / West Coast gang war/conspiracy theories.
