Meghan Markle’s dad has spoken.
It’s been about a month since Meghan Markle wed Prince Harry. During a recent interview, Markle’s father, Thomas, spoke out for the first time since the wedding.
During the interview with Good Morning Britain, Thomas said his daughter looked beautiful during the ceremony.
He added that he cried a bit when watching her walk down the aisle from his couch at home.
While Thomas said he was proud of Meghan, he also expressed regret at not attending the event and wishes he had walked her down the aisle.
You may recall, Thomas was having health issues leading up to the wedding.
As Meghan put it, her father was unable to attend due to health problems and needed to take the time to focus on getting better.
However, the way Thomas made it sound, it was as though he actively chose not to attend and now wishes he had.
Either way, the royal wedding was beautiful, and as long as Meghan and Prince Harry are happy — That’s all that matters!
