Petition Surfaces To Drop 50 Cent From STARZ After Trolling Terry Crews
50 Cent needs to learn when to slow his roll.
In the age of #MeToo, Terry Crews came forward as one of many men who have been sexually assaulted. Considering how big and burly Crews is, many were shocked that he didn’t “defend himself,” but for anyone who’s been assaulted, you know sometimes it’s not that simple.
Billboard explains the issue:
“The Care2 petition detailed the issue in its description, noting that the ‘Candy Shop’ rapper’s social media posts degraded Crews as a man because he was a sexual harassment survivor. ‘His words were not only disappointing but also indicative of what the #MeToo movement is fighting against.’
The petition is aimed at Starz, which extended its business relationship with 50 Cent to September 2019, as he is set to produce three more shows for the channel. “50 Cent has sent a message loud and clear that he is not a fan of the #MeToo movement…. Starz should send a message to the rapper and to all other potential producers and filmmakers that they will not tolerate this type of ignorance.”
In true 50 fashion, he’s completely unapologetic about the whole thing:
This is me recovering from having my sense of humor removed this morning. People are so sensitive, my doctor said l will be fine in six weeks, but my publicist said if you see any journalist play DEAD. 😒get the strap pic.twitter.com/yOTngui8ra

Crews shared the following about his assault, saying “This past year, we have seen powerful men in Hollywood and elsewhere finally held accountable for sexual harassment and assault… I wanted these survivors to know that I believed them. I supported them and this happened to me too.”
No word on if STARZ will take action to the ‘Power’ star.
