Police Say Fayetteville Woman Used Her Car To Kill Boyfriend
A 51-year-old man was found deceased on the side of the road in Fayetteville yesterday, and now police have made an arrest in the case.
According to WRAL, the Fayetteville Police Department arrested 47-year-old Sofornia Faulkner in the death of the man, identified as Daren White.
Authorities believe Faulkner and White were boyfriend and girlfriend.
For unknown reasons, the woman used her vehicle to hit White. She then fled the scene, leaving him to die on the side of the road.
Faulkner was arrested by police a short time later.
She was taken to the Cumberland County Detention Center, where her bond has been set at $250,000.
