After searching high a low, all over the city, going door to door asking if they’ve seen him. The Mayo family has finally come to a conclusion that the trainer of the dog hid poor Knox, in a trash bag in a closet.
The trainer hid the dead dog in the closet for two months and lied to both the family and the police about the dog running away.
The Mayo family loved and cherished Knox and viewed him as a family member.
It’s sickening hearing that a trainer of all things could treat a dog in such a way, and then not have the guts to come clean to the family.
Now the Mayo family is without a beloved family member.
