Pregnant Woman Shared Eerie Photo Days Before She Was Killed By Her Husband
Chris Watts made national headlines this week for allegedly killing his pregnant wife and their two little girls.
At the time of her death, Shanann was 15 weeks pregnant.
The news shocked their tight-knit community in Colorado.
In the days since Shanann and the girls were reported missing, details have slowly emerged about their murder.
Chris and Shanann, who were married in Charlotte, North Carolina six years ago, seemed very happy together — At least on social media.
Shanann often painted Chris as a loving and wonderful father and husband.
And while nothing seemed wrong on the surface, Shanann and the girls had spent most of the summer with her family in North Carolina.
She returned home for a couple of days, before leaving the girls with Chris so she could attend a work event in another state.
One of her coworkers dropped her off at her residence around 2 a.m. on Monday. It’s the last time she was seen alive.
Later that day, she and her daughters, 3 and 4, were reported missing.
By Wednesday, Chris was arrested and charged with murder.
At this time, it is still not known how or why Chris killed his family.
Just four days before their tragic deaths, Shanann posted an eerie photo on her Facebook page.
While the photo has since been deleted by her family, The Sun obtained a screenshot of the post.

In the photo, her daughters covered up a doll with a Twister mat.
The photo shocked people after-the-fact, as the the doll’s face and most of its body was covered — Appearing to resemble a body bag.
More recently, authorities have revealed the bodies of the little girls were found in an oil well.
According to CNN, the well is located on property owned by Anadarko Petroleum — Chris’s former employer.
