A fire broke out at a home in Fayetteville this evening, claiming two lives.
According to WRAL, dispatchers received a call for help around 7:30 p.m. regarding a fire at a home on Lake Club Drive.
When firefighters arrived on scene, they saw black smoke coming from the roof of the home.
Once inside, they found two deceased individuals.
At this time, the names of the victims have not been released.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is currently on hold due to the tropical storm.
