Young Woman Found Dead Near Fayetteville Park Has Been Identified
A 25-year-old woman was recently found deceased near a park in Fayetteville.
According to WNCN, the woman was beaten and had visible marks on her head and face.
Fayetteville police made the discovery late Friday morning near Windsor Park, but the victim’s identity was not revealed, until now.
Authorities say the victim is Tyesha Williams, a Fayetteville resident.
She died due to injuries related to blunt force trauma.
At this time, police don’t have any suspects related to Williams’ murder, but they are offering a $1,000 reward for information related to locating the person responsible for this homicide.
The investigation is ongoing.
