All American Week, held on Fort Bragg each May, is part family reunion and part celebration. Some think of All American Week as the area’s largest family reunion. Others look at the week of festivities as a chance to relive yesteryear and connect with history. Some see it as a chance to pay respects to fallen comrades and honor the sacrifices of generations past and present. But, whatever their reason for coming, officials with the 82nd Airborne Division have little doubt that this year’s All American Week will be one for the ages. The annual celebration of paratroopers past and present is set to be bigger and better than ever as the division honors the 75th Anniversary of D-Day. There are new events, tweaks to old favorites and a new look in store for the thousands paratroopers, veterans, family and friends. It all starts Monday, May 20.
