Jazmine Barnes Killer Arrested In Texas
Police have arrested a suspect in Texas linked to the Jazmine Barnes killing.
This past Saturday, Eric Black Jr. was taken into custody for the killing of 7-year-old Jazmine Barnes.
Initially, the shooter was believed to be Caucasian and in his 40s, but Black did not fit that description. Eric Black is a 20-year-old African American male, so that may explain the weeklong manhunt. An anonymous tip given to the police led them to Black and he has since then admitted to the shooting.
It is believed that there are more suspects involved in the case and the Harris County Sherriff, Ed Gonzalez, is vowing to find them.
#JusticeForJazmine has taken the country by storm with the likes of superstar NFL player Deandre Hopkins donating his playoff game check to the Barnes family.
