Attorney Michael Avenatti Claims He Has New Video Of R.Kelly Abusing Underage Girl
Attorney Michael Avenatti claims that he has a new video in his possession of R&B singer-songwriter R.Kelly sexually abusing an underage girl.
Avenatti said that he has turned the video over as evidence to Cook County prosecutors, according to CBS Chicago.
Avenatti stated that he was hired last April in connection to several allegations of Kelly sexually assaulting minors, which resulted in the attorney recovering a 45-minute VHS tape of the “I Believe I Can Fly” singer sexually assaulting an underage girl, in a statement this morning (Feb. 14).
The attorney said that the tape he acquired isn’t the same tape that was at the center of the child pornography case against Kelly, which resulted in the R&B star being acquitted a decade ago.
“We have provided extensive information, including the videotape described above and witnesses, to Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx,” Avenatti said.
According to CBS Chicago, the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office said it couldn’t confirm or deny information regarding the investigation.
The attorney has also represented porn star Stormy Daniels in her defamation lawsuit against President Donald Trump.
