One Dead In California Synagogue Shooting
One person was killed and three injured in a shooting at a synagogue in Poway (near San Diego, California) on Saturday afternoon, according to tweets from Poway’s sheriff and the local police department.
Three other people were injured, and a 19-year old suspect is currently in police custody.
The Poway Station of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said on Twitter that the shooting happened at around 11:30 a.m. local time at the Chabad of Poway synagogue in Poway, Calif., about 25 miles north of San Diego. They have been sharing updates on the story via their Twitter accounts.

Update #1: A man has been detained for questioning in connection with a shooting incident at the Chabad of Poway synagogue. @SDSOPoway Deputies were called to Chabad Way just before 11:30 a.m. There are injuries. This is a developing situation.
