Bobby Brown Reportedly Says He Didn’t Get Hit By A Car, Says His Sister’s Story Is ‘Fake News’
On Monday (Aug. 26), news broke that R&B singer Bobby Brown was struck by a car, according to his sister, Leolah Brown Muhammad.
Brown is now coming forward refuting Muhammad’s claims via his lawyer. The “Every Little Step” singer’s attorney, Christopher Brown (no relation) released a statement claiming that the alleged incident never took place, according to BET.
“There are reports circulating that Bobby Brown was hit by a car over the weekend and substantially injured both his legs. The reports are false and Bobby Brown was in Los Angeles enjoying time with his family this weekend,” the statement reads. “Mr. Brown was not struck by a vehicle over the weekend and statements from Leolah Brown to the contrary are fake news.”
Brown is reportedly gearing up to trek Japan and Australia for a tour with his group RBRM (Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky, and Mike). It takes place in October 2019, according to The Blast.
