Hooters is in trouble because their gift cards are not blind person friendly. TMZ reports that Marcos Calcano, a blind man, is suing the restaurant chain because the cards don’t contain Braille, so he is unable to buy one.
According to legal docs, Calcano thinks adding Braille is an easy fix, and it “would restore the dignity to blind persons.” He also explains that he “intends to immediately purchase at least one store gift card” when Braille is added.
Marcos Calcano has said that many other retail chains don’t have Braille gift cards, including CVS, Target, and Walgreens.
Marcos is also suing Domino’s Pizza.
