Beyonce Wins Grammy For ‘Best Music Film’ For ‘Homecoming’
Beyonce won the award during the 62nd annual Grammy Awards for Best Music Film for her documentary Homecoming that was centered around the “Spirit” singer’s groundbreaking 2018 Coachella performance
With her performance, Beyonce became the first black woman to ever headline the highly lauded festival. Her performance was inspired by historically black colleges and universities.
Homecoming exclusively aired on Netflix showcasing Beyonce’s tribute to marching bands, majorettes, and black Greek life. Beyonce did not attend the Grammy Premiere Ceremony to accept the award.
