The Weeknd’s Album Is Out: See What Twitter Has To Say
After much anticipation, The Weeknd’s new album is out. There has been a tremendous buildup to After Dark in the forms of theatrical music videos, in-character late night performances, and even an After Dark trailer.
The Weeknd himself was excited for the release early this morning, impatiently tweeting things like “3 HOURS !!!!!!!!!,” “2 HOURS !!!!! TIME MOVING SLOW !!!,” and “Longest 10 minutes ever …” leading up to the release.
Within minutes of the album coming out, The Weeknd and Abel were trending on Twitter. Also trending on Twitter was The Weeknd’s off and on ex-girlfriend, Bella Hadid. “Abel got me missing Bella Hadid and I’ve never even met her,” One fan wrote. “Another added, “I’d write an album about Bella Hadid too.”
