Rihanna Discusses Her Anxiety, Gives Details About Album, And Says She Wants Kids
Rihanna is the latest cover girl on British Vogue, and in the interview opened up about a subject all her fans are obsessed about: her new album. “I can’t say when I’m going to drop,” the singer says. “But I am very aggressively working on music.” She also goes into detail on what fans can expect. She says, “I don’t want my albums to feel like themes. There are no rules. There’s no format. There’s just good music, and if I feel it, I’m putting it out.”
She also explains, “I feel like I have no boundaries. I’ve done everything – I’ve done all the hits, I’ve tried every genre – now I’m just, I’m wide open. I can make anything that I want.”
She also talks about something that might surprise fans: she gets intimidated and anxious before red carpets and performances. She even admits she bailed on her scheduled 2016 Grammy’s performance because she was so nervous. “I left the Grammys one time. Left! In the middle of my hair and make-up. My hair half up, half of my lash on…” Rihanna says. “Being on camera, being in a room full of celebrities is still not normal for me, by the way.”
When asked where she sees her herself in ten years, Rihanna revealed she hopes to be a mom. “Ten years? I’ll be 42! I’ll be ancient,” she jokingly says before adding, “I’ll have kids – three or four of ’em.”
