2 Chainz Challenges Meek Mill To a ‘Verzus’ Battle
On Sunday (Apr. 5), 2 Chainz took to Instagram to challenge Meek Mill to a “Verzus” battle.
“So I put up a post talking about Atlanta run the game, basically, the last couple of decades and we want to participate in this ‘Verzus’ thing that Swizz and Timbaland have going on,” 2 Chainz said in a video the Atlanta rapper posted.
“We’re talking about people outside of the city to compete against. Some people were saying Drake, but Drake has more hits than the Beatles. Like, literally, we know this!”
“Wayne [Lil Wayne]. Somebody say Wayne, but he’s been rapping before all of us. We all came up on Tune [Lil Wayne] and I don’t even think he would do nothing like that,” 2 Chainz then commented regarding competing against Lil Wayne.
“And then Snoop [Snoop Dogg] chimed in but he has a couple of projects produced by Dr. Dre. And even when he drops his stuff we know it’s going to stick. Fab [Fabolous] got them dope ass girl records but I got them trap records.”
After deliberating about battling against Drake, Lil Wayne, and Snoop in the current “Verzuz” battle series that super producers Swizz Beatz and Timbaland are hosting, 2 Chainz finally agreed to battle against a fellow rapper that was suggested that he actually agrees with.
“And then, somebody said Meek [Mill], and I thought that would be dope, so let’s do it Meek. Let’s do it!”
