Jeezy Breaks His Silence Regarding Engagement To Jeannie Mai
As we previously reported, Jeezy and Jeannie Mai are now engaged, and the rapper and philanthropist has broken his silence regarding the exciting moment.
On Thursday (Apr. 9), Jeezy took to Instagram to share a photo of himself with Jeannie Mai and publicly acknowledge their engagement.
“Would say 4 life but that’s not long enough [black heart emoji] Infinity…,” the rapper wrote as the caption of his photo.

Jeezy popped the question to the television host on March 27, as People reported. Jeezy, 42, had originally planned to propose to Mai, 41, in April sometime during a previously planned trip to Vietnam.
However, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, which has globally restricted travel, the rapper decided to surprise Mai with a proposal during a quarantine date night at his home in Los Angeles.
“Jeannie and Jay were set for a trip to Vietnam this April. What Jeannie didn’t know is that Jay was planning to propose,” Mai’s rep told People. “Instead, Jay decided to bring Vietnam to Jeannie with a surprise quarantine date night in his home filled with Vietnamese food and decor.”
