BREAKING: City of Fayetteville Extends Curfew to May 8
Following the state’s announcement of the stay-at-home order being extended across North Carolina through at least May 8, Fayetteville Mayor Mitch Colvin announced the city’s curfew would be extended until then as well.
The one-sentence statement from the City of Fayetteville simply said: “Consistent with Governor Roy Cooper’s extension of the Stay-at-Home Order, I am extending the citywide public safety curfew until May 8. Curfew hours are the same.”
Colvin had announced on March 31 that Fayetteville would begin a curfew from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. to help ease stress points on first responders and others, and to help keep people at home.
