MC Lyte To Star In New UMC Scripted Rapper Series ‘Partners In Rhyme’
MC Lyte will be starring in a new scripted series on UMC called Partners In Rhyme.
Partners In Rhyme, a half-hour sitcom, is the latest original production from AMC Networks’ streaming service, UMC.
The show chronicles the life of a high school girl rapper and social media star who is a foster child. The young rapper believes that she is the next Cardi B.
MC Lyte will star in Partners In Rhyme as a label executive who is charged with assisting the talented upcoming artist to navigate the music industry, as Deadline reports.
