Greater Fayetteville Chamber Moving to Festival Park Plaza
The Greater Fayetteville Chamber is relocating again, as it has announced it will be moving to the Festival Park Plaza building on Ray Avenue at the end of June.
The Chamber is currently in a renovated wood-working shop at 159 Maxwell St., which it moved into in January of 2015 after several years in Haymount.
“The Chamber will be moving this month to Festival Park Plaza on Ray Avenue to a new suite of offices from which we will continue our 121 year history of serving the business community,” said Christine Michaels, President & CEO. “We will occupy space formerly held by the Fayetteville Woodpeckers when they set up operations prior to the opening of Segra Stadium.”

When the Chamber moved from the Hay Street location, it worked with the new building owners on Maxwell Street to renovate a downtown warehouse (see photos of the renovation project here). The use of historic revitalization tax credits allowed for turning the old wood-working shop into a vibrant downtown office space and apartments. That building is now for sale, according to the Chamber release.
“We know the right buyer will come along for this fantastic space,” Michaels said. “We thank the building’s owners, Chamber Partners LLP, for its understanding, and for their support as we make this transition, which will be effective June 30. The Chamber’s new location enables us to be more efficient with our space requirements under the social distancing restrictions in place now and whatever they may be in the foreseeable future.”
