Doja Cat Releases Visual For ‘ Like That’
On Friday (June 26), Doja Cat released the visual for her single “Like That.” The Los Angeles singer-rapper made the announcement on Instagram early Friday morning.
The visual features Doja Cat twerking, and she’s joined by an animated version of herself. In the video, Doja rocks a white du-rag with a matching crop top bra, and white detached pants.
Doja’s avatar is dressed as the real Doja is. However, she’s shooting fire while she’s flying in the sky.
Gucci Mane, who is featured on the track, also makes an appearance in the video. In his appearance, the Atlanta rapper is surrounded by a galaxy of stars and planets while he’s sitting on top of a drop-top car rapping his verse.
The track is from the singer-rapper’s sophomore album Hot Pink, which dropped last fall. As we previously reported, Doja Cat recently went on Instagram Live and addressed those who criticized her recent chat room debacle, which we previously reported on.
“If I went out into a crowd of white supremacists what do you think would happen? Think about that ’cause I just realized how f—-ing stupid that narrative is,” Doja Cat said referring to the rumors that she hangs out with white supremacists.
“I just realized that. The verbal harassment. The physical harassment that I could go through being in a crowd of white supremacists who you think I’m so good friends with. You’re f—-ing ridiculous!”
Back in May, Doja Cat received a slew of backlash regarding old videos that resurfaced of the singer-rapper in online chat rooms with white men where she appeared to use the n-word but with a “hard r,” as well as a video where the singer talked negatively about her hair.
