Keke Palmer Will Host The 2020 VMA Awards
MTV has announced that Keke Palmer will take on hosting duties for the 2020 VMA Awards. They shared the news with a video of Keke and her alter ego True Jackson, who she played on the True Jackson, VP television series from 2008 to 2011.
Keke discussed her new hosting duties, writing, “I heard y’all was tired of 2020, let’s go back to 2008. Join me as I host the 2020 @vmas.”

Keke also announced earlier today that she would voice Maya Leibowitz-Jenkins on The Proud Family:Louder and Prouder reboot. The animated series will be coming to Disney+
Earlier this week, the VMA Twitter account revealed that BTS, Doja Cat, and J Balvin would perform at the upcoming show. The 2020 Video Music Awards will take place this year at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The show will air live on August 30.
