Salaam Remi, Teedra Moses, and D Nice Release ‘Black Love’ Video
On Friday (Aug. 7), Saleem Remi, Teedra Moses, and D Nice dropped the video for their collaboration single “Black Love.” The video, directed by Remi and Tatiana Crooks, features overhead shots of the beautiful beaches of Miami before a woman skates down the street, in the opening shot.
Moses is then seen walking along the beach before D Nice appears on the 1s and 2s. Moses then dances while she sings the first verse in front of the ocean. A plane then flies above the “Be Your Girl” singer before more women on skates appear skating freely down a street in unison.
Moses then has a wardrobe change where the singer appears in a plain white top, denim shorts, a neon green shoulder throw, and a pair of white skates with pink shoelaces. She dances while sitting before a few of the women on skates appear on both sides of her. Various couples then appear in the video skating together.
Towards the end of the video, Moses is standing with a wedding veil on while standing on sand that’s been decorated with rose petals. She looks directly into the camera intensely while wearing a shirt that reads, “Black On Purpose,” which is the title of Remi’s new forthcoming LP that the single “Black Love” is featured on.
The singer then walks toward a statue of a huge heart before D Nice appears DJing again. “Catch the vibes we are sending in this visual for our new record Black Love,” Moses wrote of the video on Instagram. “Sunshine! Good times! Light hearts! Heavy Love! There’s a lot going on in 2020 but baybay you can ALWAYS rely on LOVE to make EVERYTHING ALRIGHT!” “as always… sending you love in abundance!!! The real kind!!!” Moses continued.
