Tory Lanez Officially Charged With Felony Assault In Megan The Stallion Shooting
It’s official: Tory Lanez has been charged for the shooting involving Megan Thee Stallion back in July.
TMZ states, “The L.A. County D.A.’s Office hit him with one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm – personal use of a firearm – and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle.”
They point out the Tory was previously arrested and only charged with possession of a firearm. Now, prosecutors are specifically saying Tory pulled the trigger and shot Megan in the foot.
As we reported, it took Megan a while before she publicly addressed the situation and revealed it was Tory who shot her. Recently, Tory broke his silence, and it appeared that he would address the incident. He instead used the attention to promote his album, Daystar, which got him a lot of heat of social media.
On the Daystar album, he indirectly acknowledged the incident on “Money Over Fallouts” and “Care for You.”
