According to XXL, one of Trump’s final acts in office may be to pardon the rapper. They state, “White House staff has prepared documents to pardon Wayne, according to anonymous sources within the Trump camp.”

The pardon would be for the recent legal trouble Weezy was facing at the end of 2020. As we reported, he was charged with one count of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon. This was after the plane he was on was stopped at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport, and they found a handgun in his luggage. If convicted for the crime, he could face up to 10 years in prison.

Now with the help of Trump, he may be acquitted.
