George Clooney Cannot Contain His Love For Brad Pitt In Hilarious Ad
George Clooney shows us a glimpse of what it would be like to be his roommate during the pandemic, and let’s just say his obsession with Brad Pitt is far beyond what any of us might have imagined.
In a video posted to Omaze’s YouTube page, Clooney announces a contest where, as soon as the pandemic is over, a winner and a friend celebrates with him and wife Amal Clooney at their house in Lake Como, Italy. The event is to support the Clooney Foundatin for Justice, and the winner and a friend will be flown out to Italy, get put up in a (presumably awesome) hotel, and will be invited to the Clooney home “for a little get-together.”
This is when things get a little dodgy. Clooney says one of his favorite things about meeting new people is that “you never know when a life-long friendship is gonna blossom.” By “total dumb luck,” Clooney says he spent most of last year stuck rooming with a random guy and now they’re “basically best friends now.”
Over the next few minutes, we see the horrors of what living with Clooney would be like from the perspective of his “roommate” Byron: Clooney hogged the bathroom for five hours because he was “in makeup,” he dedicated a to Brad Pitt posters, and he cajoled Byron to watch Ocean’s Eleven movies. Or worse, Batman & Robin.
Byron says, “Do I recommend hanging out with George Clooney?” followed by a disappearing smile says, “No, I do not.” Clooney disrupts his job interview, pays rent with signed autographs, and terrorizes him with life-sized posters of Brad Pitt.
