Kim Kardashian Failed Her First Year Law Student Exam
Kim Kardashian has been trying to become a lawyer for more than a year now, but she may have to put more work into it, as she missed a passing grade on the “baby bar” exam.
In a preview of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim told her siblings Kourtney and Khloe that she failed the exam. Kourtney offered words of encouragement saying that their dad “would be really proud of you regardless. Just the fact that you’re pursuing this.” Khloe chimed in to say, “I think it’s high respectable what you’re doing. I think the time you get taken away from your family, your kids, friends.”
Kim said in the clip, “If you are doing law school the way I’m doing it, it is a 4-year program instead of your typical 3-year program, and after year 1, you have to take the baby bar. This one actually is harder, I hear, than the official bar.”
Kim scored a 474 on the exam — a passing grade is 560. Her mentor in taking the exam, attorney Jessica Jackson, said, “That is extremely close on a test that most people are not taking in the middle of a pandemic.”
Kim shows her discouragement by replying, “I am a failure. I spent six weeks straight, 10-12 hours a day studying and it was so important for me to take this, and to not pass gets your spirit down. It just makes you want to give up.”
It’s unclear if she took the exam a second time since many months have passed, but Kim said in the clip, “I can’t do it again. I don’t have time to do it. The next test is in November.”
Kim posted this photo of her studying on her Instagram a month ago, so she may not have given up on her dream:
