Carmelo Anthony Joins The Los Angeles Lakers: Twitter Reacts
Carmelo Anthony is officially an LA Laker! Anthony will join long-time friend and Team USA teammate LeBron James for the 2021-2022 season on the Los Angeles Lakers for a 1-year deal. Melo’s agent Adrian Wojnarowski confirmed the news on Twitter Tuesday.
Free agent F Carmelo Anthony has agreed to a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, his manager Bay Frazier tells ESPN.

Melo shared a graphic on his Instagram to show excitement for his new team.
The NBA player previously played for the Portland Trail Blazers, averaging 13 points per game.
Free agents Trevor Ariza, Kent Bazemore, Wayne Ellington, Malik Monk and Dwight Howard will also be joining the Los Angeles Lakers.
