Carl Lewis’ Track Star Godson Cameron Burrell’s Death Ruled A Suicide
Track star Cameron Burrell, godson of the 9-time Olympian sprinter Carl Lewis, died by suicide, gossip site TMZ reported.
Records obtained by the outlet state the, “26-year-old’s manner of death was ruled a suicide after his body was inspected by the medical examiner this week.” The cause of death was listed as a “gunshot wound of the head.”
Records also show that Burrell passed away in a Houston, Texas parking garage.
As we previously reported, the NCAA champ tragically died Monday. The family reached out to his alma mater, the University of Houston, to break the news.
