50 Cent Celebrates Texas’ ‘Mask Off’ Policy
50 Cent is packing his bags and is ready to move to Texas after he commented on a recent story of a Texas couple being kicked out of a restaurant for not using face masks.
“Yo i’m telling you we all gotta just move to Texas. LOL #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi#bottlerover,” the rapper commented on a screenshot of TheShadeRoom’s post.

This is not the first time 50 has commented on mask mandates and has joked about moving to a city where they have no restrictions on mask-wearing.
Back in March, the Power creator commented in a now-deleted Instagram post per Maxim, “I’m headed to Texas f— this 🏃♂️💨LOL.” In February 50 also hosted a maskless SuperBowl party that caught the attention of Rick Kriseman the Mayor of St. Petersburg, Florida.
“This isn’t how we should be celebrating the Super Bowl,” wrote Kriseman in his February 6 tweet, “It’s not safe or smart. It’s stupid. We’re going to take a very close look at this, and it may end up costing someone a lot more than 50 cent.”

Texas Governor Greg Abbott lifted the mask mandate back in March and has caused frustration in Texans especially after the winter storm caused residents to lose power for weeks. Others are urging fellow Texans to keep masks on despite the mandate.
Look how Texans have reacted:
While Abbott protects the unborn, Midland Independent School District that has no mask mandate reports almost 1300 Covid cases in the school district since August 2! How is this “pro life”? #GregAbbott pic.twitter.com/yCVDHrAHNC

Hey #GregAbbott why are you lifting the mask mandate in Texas when you couldn’t even keep water and electricity running during an ice storm?

Texas: No reliable electricity, water or health safety — but hey, who needs heat or lungs when you can shoot guns, right?

Harris County residents. Texans. Please keep wearing your mask and avoiding gatherings. This is all on us now.
