LeBron James COVID-19 Vaccine Mystery Solved, All Lakers Will Be Fully Vaxxed
LeBron James who has dodged the question on whether he is or will be getting vaccinated has been somewhat answered as the General Manager for the Los Angeles Lakers, Rob Pelinka, claims that the whole Lakers roster will be fully vaccinated for the start of the season per TMZ.
“On opening night, all of the players that are currently signed on our roster will be deemed fully vaccinated,” Pelinka told reporters Thursday per the outlet. “We’re grateful for that.”
James has kept his vaccination status under wraps, considering it to be a family matter.
“Anything I do off the floor is predicated to my family for the majority or 99.9% of that,” James said back in May.
“It’s about the health and safety of my family,” the four-time MVP added. “That’s what it came down to. Being available to my teammates on the floor is about taking care of my body and me doing everything I can to make sure I’m available both mentally, physically and spiritually as well.”
“But, anything of that nature is all family talk,” he concluded.
Also back in May, James came under fire for hanging out with his celebrity friends Drake, Michael B. Jordan, and others during his Lobos tequila event which violated the NBA protocols at the time. James was not suspended for the outdoor event and the league did not require him to quarantine following it so it was heavily speculated that he was vaccinated sometime before per the outlet.

In light of Pelinka’s statement, it seems that the speculation can be laid to rest.
