It might be hard to get a follow back from the Brooklyn native; at the moment he only follows his wife Beyoncé who, in turn, only follows him. Within the few hours he's been on Instagram, the rapper already has 1.8 million followers.
The rapper's first post is of the film The Harder They Fall which premieres on Netflix Wednesday (Nov. 3). Hov has two original songs on the film's soundtrack with collaborations from other artists. "Guns Go Bang" features Kid Cudi and "King Kong Riddim (ft BackRoad Gee)" is a collaboration between Jay-Z, Jadakiss, Conway The Machine and BlackRoad Gee, per Newsweek.
Hov likes to keep a low profile on social media and only uses his Twitter account on rare occasions. He's been recently more active since his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction Saturday but he usually only uses it to promote new business ventures such as business mogul Jack Dorsey's company Square buying a percentage of Jay's streaming service Tidal.
