Tory Lanez To Testify In Megan Thee Stallion Shooting Case
The shooting incident that occurred between Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion during the summer of 2020 in which Tory was charged with felony assault for allegedly shooting Megan has been going on for over a year. However, it seems as though the legal proceedings will begin next month and the details surrounding the July 12, 2020 incident will be revealed.
According to Rolling Stone, the Toronto native, born Daystar Peterson, was unable to reach a plea deal in his felony assault case. Tory will now appear in court for a live testimony on Dec. 14 to tell his version of what happened the night.
Kathy Ta, Deputy District Attorney for Los Angeles County, reportedly told the court that she expects 90 minutes worth of testimony per XXL. The outlet reports that Tory’s preliminary hearing is also very important to his case going into trial.
Last month, Tory had “meaningful discussions” to reach a plea deal, but it appears that Lanez maintains his not guilty plea.
