Pharrell Williams Is Also Annoyed By His Song ‘Happy’
Back in 2013, Pharrell Williams had the whole world singing “Happy” whether they wanted to or not. The catchy lyrics and tune were heard everywhere. But now the song doesn’t make the superstar producer “happy” anymore.
The song was originally released as part of the soundtrack for Despicable Me 2. It reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart the following year on the producer’s second studio album, Girl. Pharrell recently shared that he isn’t too fond of the song anymore.
“No song annoyed me like Happy by Pharrell did,” a fan wrote. Pharrell quote-replied to the tweet saying, “Same.”

“Happy” went on to win a Grammy Award for “Best Music Video” at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.
