Cardi B Defends Offset Amid Battle With Quality Control Music
Cardi B is sticking by her man at all costs. Offset has been going back-and-forth with his label Quality Control Music since he is now seeking out a solo career. The Atlanta native is suing the label for allegedly claiming ownership over his recent solo releases despite the rapper buying back his rights in 2021, which he claims he “paid handsomely” for, Variety reports. Although Quavo and Takeoff are still under the label and the music rights of the two other Migos rappers are unknown, Offset alleges that the label’s ownership claim over his solo recording and songwriting is “wrongful and knowingly violates [his] rights to his own music.”

Thomas responded seemingly tweeting back at Offset referring to Migos’ previous lawsuit that was dismissed back in 2021. “Been to real for all this lame s—,” P wrote in a since-deleted tweet per Vulture. “Everyone know the real problem.”
His wife, Cardi B, also jumped in to defend him. “Offset bought himself out his Qc deal after they didn’t want to renegotiate his contract,” she wrote on Instagram. “I’m tired of people trying to make offset look like the bad guy …..ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!”
Quality Control Music responded to the allegations writing, “Not only are the accusations in this lawsuit false, they are totally detached from realty. Offset remains a part of QC.”
