Megan Thee Stallion Releases Music Video For ‘Ungrateful’
Megan Thee Stallion has released the music video for “Ungrateful” featuring Key Glock. The track is from her latest album release, Traumazine.
In the music video, Megan is seen dressed up for a funeral in all-black, and then it shows her in all-white with a large church hat shielding her from the rain. As the rapper goes up to pay her respects to the dead, but the video does not show who is in the casket, leaving it up to our imagination.
The visual to “Ungrateful” marks the third music video released off of Traumazine. The Houston native previously released a video for “Her” and “Plan B.”
Although Megan’s visuals have been stunning to say the least, the Good News rapper has some even better news of her own as she is taking her acting talents outside of music. The “Hot Girl Coach” has officially entered the Marvel Universe with her appearance in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law starring Tatiana Maslany. In her cover story with The Cut, she discussed how she looks up to rappers like Queen Latifah and Ice-T who are successful in both music and acting. “When I look at them, it inspires me to take it further than just music,” she says. “I don’t feel like I’m only going to be an actress — I feel like I’m also going to be a director and I’m also going to be a producer.”
Megan had her breakout role in STARZ’s P-Valley on season two where she appeared as her alter ego, Tina Snow. She revealed that she auditioned for the lead role of Mercedes. However, that role ended up going to Brandee Evans. “I was just coming up, and I read for Mercedes, but seeing Brandee play Mercedes, I’m like, obviously, I was not here yet. She’s so perfect for that role.”
The rapper will also be making her film debut in A24’s musical comedy F—ing Identical Twins which yet has to have a confirmed release date.
