Nicki Minaj Addresses New Generation Of ‘Entitled’ Female Rappers

Nicki Minaj is not holding back. The Queens native is addressing the budding female rappers and how many of them are acting “entitled.”

Nicki dropped “Super Freaky (Queen Mix)” last week which apparently left a sour taste in some of the new female rapper’s mouths. The reimagined track includes verses from rappers Katie Got Bandz, Akbar V, Maliibu Miitch, JT, and BIA. TheShadeRoom captured several tweets from new female rappers who seemed to subliminally come for the women on Nicki’s remix.

Asian Da Bratt tweeted, “Siding with bitches who had plans to end you is crazy.” Coi Leray who worked with Nicki earlier this year on “Blick Blick” wrote, “Be careful from fake smiles.” She added: “Industry so weird…only if y’all know the half…yuck..anyways FLYS— OUT NOW.”

“Why y’all tryna make it look like I’m responding to this CLOWN S— when all of my tweets were posted before these girls tweets?????????? ???????” Nicki commented in screenshots caught by AllHipHop. “Knock it TF OFF. WHEN I TELL U IDGAF  Bwahahahahahahagaga.”

Then Nicki went on to shout out the women who supported her with her remix of “Super Freaky Girl.”

“Shout out the girls on the #QueenMix they congratulated me on going #1 so I asked them to be on my REMIX!!!!!!” she wrote. “Who gon check me boo????!! Btchs ain’t got enough CASH IN THE BANK FOR DAT.”
She added, “Y’all can’t never be happy for other girls but I’m the bitter one????? Bwajahahahahahagaga. Stay MAD. C— SUCKA OF THE DAY AWARDS IS BEING GIVEN OUT ON QUEEN RADIO TONIGHT. ENTITLED CRYING AHh JEALOUS Ahh Clowns.”

Nicki then took to her Twitter to address a fan’s tweet about how new female rappers are not working as hard as the more seasoned female rappers. Nicki responded: “Entitled duds.” She later addressed the “entitled” rappers on her show.

“So many of you girls that just came in the game, as soon as y’all find y’all pissy tails on Billboard once or twice, y’all begin to say things about me in subtle ways,” she said on her show. “And that’s why a lot of you pissy tails got unfollowed today. See, we’re going to be upfront and direct 2022. You know why? Because Onika doesn’t give a f—, that’s why,” she said.

  In this party anthem the New York native raps about having a one-night stand. "Pound the Alarm" music video is shot in Nicki's hometown in Trinidad and Tobago at the Queens Park Savannah in Port Of Spain. The video was directed by Benny Boom, who previously filmed the singer's "Beez In The Trap" and "Right By My Side" clips. Since the song's debut, it has reached certified platinum status.

In the video, you see Nicki and 2 Chainz in the strip club where the rapper said it was an ode to her fans that worked the club. She told MTV at the time, "When I was doing my mixtapes, I would perform in strip clubs. I would perform in clubs and it was just like some of my most die-hard fans would be in these places," she said. "I wanted to kinda honor all my girls in the club and just say thank you for the support."

Nicki explained to The Guardian: "That's what I feel. Just go for it! Stop limiting yourself! And that's a great feeling. It's a great feeling to not box yourself into anyone's limitations or ideas or judgments. That's what it means to me."

"It empowers women. There are lots of thick girls who told me, 'thank you.'" The hit was later nominated for a Grammy in 2014 for "Best Rap Song."
