Chuck D Calls For Elon Musk To Ban The N-Word From Twitter
Public Enemy’s Chuck D is asking Twitter CEO Elon Musk to ban the n-word from the social media platform. With the recent suspension of Kanye West due to his ongoing antisemitic remarks, Chuck D is asking Musk to consider banning the n-word so that Twitter can go in an “equalized direction” in terms of banning hateful slurs and symbols.
“Yo @elonmusk the next thing twitter should do is ban the N-Word the n—- & n—– by anyone that uses it here. Then we know things are pointing in a equalized direction,” he wrote then pointing the finger at Meta CEO Mark Zukerberg. “Then you can convince Zuck to do the same at IG FB get it outta here suspend em. It’s as bad as that symbol.”
The “symbol” Chuck is referencing is the one that Ye posted last week which was The Star of David inside the swastika. The Tesla founder said the post violated the platform’s rule against inciting violence and Ye was suspended. When or if Ye’s Twitter account will be reinstated has not been disclosed.
“It ain’t like kicking somebody’s tail in a fight. It’s all words and images here .. keyboard s—,” he continued in a second tweet. “So I’m not talking about anywhere else except social media right now because it can be done .. there gonna be a lotta people backbroke over their ‘pet’ getting smashed on here..”
Following some pushback on his suggestion, the “Fight The Power” rapper addressed the haters.
“Social Medias pet dog .. hey the original MC rule was never get lazy with W O R D S,” he typed. “They have impact..some folk gettin all a—hurt because I suggested taking one bad tooth out of their keyboard grill. It’s not censorship it’s against stupids—. Everything is mixed in 1 BS bowl.”
Elon has not responded to Chuck’s tweets as of yet.
