Original story:
It wouldn’t be a Dreamville Festival without some weather getting in the way. Organizers announced that the start of the festival will be delayed Saturday because of bad weather.
Due to severe weather forecasts including high winds, lightning, and rain with impacts to Dix Park, gates for the first day of Dreamville Festival will open at 2pm on Saturday,” Dreamville said in an Instagram post. “We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow afternoon. Follow our social media for more info including new performance times, and stay tuned for an additional update to follow tomorrow morning at 10am.”
Gates had been scheduled to open at noon, with the first artist – Marqus Clae – slated to start at 1 p.m. That time will be adjusted, though it’s unclear yet if it will mean any artists are removed from the schedule or not.
We’ll keep you updated as Dreamville lets us know more.
