Doja Cat Previews New Rap Album
Doja Cat finally gave fans a preview of her forthcoming album Hellmouth…sort of. On Monday (April 17), the rapper/singer was in a sharing mood. She gave fans who tuned into her Instagram Live a snippet of 25 songs. She only played about two seconds of each song so you really couldn’t get a feel of what the record was about. Nonetheless, fans ate her Live video up and were happy they could just get a snippet of what’s to come.
Along with her Instagram Live, the rapper seemingly posted her tracklist to Hellmouth on her Instagram Story Monday night which she has teased before. Tracks include “Attention,” “Love Life,” “97,” “Wet Vagina,” and “Can’t Wait.” There was also a song listed called “Ouchies” which she marked “unfinished.” She has yet to confirm if the post is actually a track listing for her upcoming project.

Doja also used this opportunity to address her new tattoo. It has gotten a lot of buzz as some fans describe it as “demonic.” The tattoo which is located on the singer’s left arm is of a half-female and half-mythological creature.
The Planet Her creator said that the artwork actually pays homage to an Italian artist. The tattoo draws inspiration from Fortunio Liceti’s 1616 artwork “De Monstris” a.k.a. “monsters.” Doja explained that most of her tats including this one don’t really have meaning to her and that she is appreciating the art itself.
She posted a photo of the original artwork on her Instagram with the caption, “your fear is not my problem.”

Recently, Doja Cat made her 2023 debut as she lent her voice to SZA’s S.O.S. hit “Kill Bill.”
Doja was originally supposed to be featured on SZA’s “Shirt” but due to her emergency surgery, she was unable to.
“She had surgery, she had to have that emergency, like, vocal cord surgery and she wasn’t ready in the time that we needed to get the song done,” SZA explained, per Billboard. “There was a crossfire between, I think, her management and my management and they had told us it was done, but it wasn’t actually done.
“It was just a lot of confusion,” she continued, “but don’t know. I hope for the best, and I’m still, like, a major fan of her and her artistry. And I think she’s so incredible and I would love to get her on the deluxe [version].”
The duo previously worked together on Doja’s “Kiss Me More” which both artists won their first Grammy for last year.
