J. Cole Seemingly Confirms Drake’s Spot On Upcoming Album
We might have another J. Cole and Drake collab coming our way. During Drake’s tour stop in Montreal over the weekend, Cole surprised fans with a guest performance. Drizzy’s Her Loss partner, 21 Savage, was unable to make the event.
“Maybe I could get on the album?” Drake asked.
J. Cole responded, “N—-!”
“Can I get on the album? I’ma ask in front of Montreal. ‘J. Cole, can we get on your album?'” Drake asked as the crowd began uproaring trying to convince Cole.
The Dreamville founder gave into the peer pressure shooting back: “Say less, goddammit!”
Before Drizzy parted the stage, he told the crowd to appreciate Cole’s efforts in being the special guests two nights in a row.
“Montreal, I want you to understand something,” he said. “It takes somebody that really not only loves the art of this s—, but really loves all of you to get on a plane, come here for two nights and represent for Montreal.
“So make some muthaf—ing noise for my brother, all the way from the ‘Ville, he goes by the name of Jermaine Cole. I need you to get as loud as you can!”

Cole has not announced when his next album will be released.
21 will not be performing on the Canada legs of the Its All A Blur Tour, presumingly because of his ongoing immigration situation. The Atlanta native will return on the tour alongside Drizzy Monday night (July 17) in Brooklyn, New York.
Drake will be heading back to Canada but this time stopping at Vancouver on August 28 and 29 at the Rogers Arena. His second to last tour date he will be reunited with his home city of Toronto at the Scotiabank Arena on Oct. 7. The last date of the tour is in Columbus, Ohio on Oct. 9.
