Offset & Cardi B Join Forces On ‘Jealousy’
Offset and Cardi B’s newest collab “Jealousy” dropped Friday (July 28). The new record will be a part of Offset’s upcoming album.
“Jealousy” samples the Three 6 Mafia track “Jealous A– Bitches” while their album artwork, which pays homage to the 2001 John Singleton-directed classic Baby Boy starring Tyrese Gibson and Taraji P. Henson.
In addition to the cover art, Cardi shared a snippet of the music video which also features actress Taraji P. Henson. In the video, the “Up” rapper complains about infidelity issues with Henson until their call is interrupted by Offset’s knock on the door. Cardi B and Offset’s children Kulture and Wave also make cameos in the video.
This is not the couple’s first collab in the studio. Offset and Cardi B have previously worked together on “Um Yea,” “Lick (Remix),” “MotorSport,” “Drip” and “Clout.”
The release of “Jealousy” follows the rap couple’s very public back and forth. Offset accused Cardi B of cheating on him with another man.
Last month, according to Page Six, Offset posted and then deleted the following claim, “My wife f—– a n—- on me gang yall n—- know how I come.”
